We are a rock n' roll bar located in inner SE Portland. The music is loud. The drinks are stiff. The staff is friendly.  And, our food is really, really good.  We now also have a pretty kick-ass weekend brunch every Saturday & Sunday from 10a - 2p.

 

Established in 2010, Star Bar is known as a safe space for misfits, rockers, rollers, punks, heshers, queers, trans, non-binary, black, white, brown, burning bright, and the barely-visible people. Basically, if you are not a dick and like having fun, you are welcome in the bar. Even if you don't think you do, you fit in.  You are our community. This is what makes us special. Well, this and the black velvet paintings. We have a lot of black velvet paintings. We sometimes host live shows, we sometimes host DJs, and we usually host a good time. That's the point, right?
